​The Material Technical Research Center (MTAM) Laboratory, which is cooperated by OSTİM Technical University and UMT Quality Control Company, is located at Ostim Technical University.

In the laboratory; Within the scope of the works of UMT, our teachers perform tests for various projects related to the courses.

In addition, it is possible to use the laboratory out of the company (except for Ostim Technical University and UMT).

A monthly laboratory usage appointment form is used to use the laboratory effectively and efficiently.

​In Ostim Technical University; High voltage tests are performed both in order to increase the knowledge level by giving students the opportunity to apply the high voltage in the field of high voltage and in accordance with international standards. Within the scope of the laboratory;

• Lightning impact test system: 1.2 MV

• Current Pulse Test System: 250 kA

• AC Network Frequency Test System: 600 kV

• High current AC test system: 5000 A

• All kinds of impact power supply tests

• HPEM and EMP test infrastructure.

• High voltage strength and puncture test infrastructure.

• Partial discharge test system: 50-100 kV

• Training and laboratory services are provided for students.
